Just a friendly reminder, the number of “applicants” on LinkedIn doesn’t reflect the actual number of people who applied for the role. It represents the number of people who viewed the job post and clicked on apply. If someone views the same posting multiple times, they are counted as multiple “applicants,” which can skew the numbers significantly.

Don’t let this discourage you from applying for a position you’re qualified for! The number can be misleading, so it’s best not to focus too much on it. Keep your spirits up and apply if you’re interested and qualified.
